Museum of Antiquated Technology – June 1
Mark Vess, owner and curator, of the Museum of Antiquated Technology has graciously agreed to open up his unique collection of gadgets from America’s technological past and his vast properties to us for a trip back through time. Nestled away in the sleepy suburban town of Hanson, MA, the Museum includes vintage telephones, radios, electric meters, gasoline engines, tractors and, of course, a mini-fleet of antique automobiles.
We are planning a very special onsite luncheon. More information will be available as our plans get finalized.

A cup, a cone or a banana split - everybody has a preference. We plan to have an abbreviated agenda for our regular monthly meeting. So meet at 7:30 at the Endicott Estate with your antique vehicle and we will venture out from there after a brief meeting. With the summer solstice only a week away, there should be sufficient daylight to finish up before dark.

Codman House – July 20
On July 20th we are off to Lincoln and the Codman House Motoring Memories Antique Vehicle Meet. The Codman Estate is owned by Historic New England (formerly the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities). The Estate, covers some 250 acres, has been farmed almost continuously since 1735. The original house was built by Chambers Russell I and was enlarged in the 1790s to its present three-story Federal style by John Codman, brother-in-law of Chambers Russell III. It is believed that Charles Bullfinch was involved in this renovation. |
After the morning’s car show and social we will be off to Verrell’s Farm for lunch. You won’t want to miss this one. |
